According to the Mayo Clinic, Cystic Fibrosis is an inherited disease found in humans. Thick and sticky mucus builds up and clogs the digestive and respiratory systems. Cystic Fibrosis is caused by a defect mutation. It changes the protein that controls salt and its movements in and out of the cells.

WHat Are The Symptoms?
Symptoms of Cystic Fibrosis include: wheezing, breathlessness, repeated lung infections, poor weight gain and growth, foul-smelling, greasy stool, and severe constipation, very salty-tasting skin, and deformity of nails.
